When Benjamin Bunny grew up, he married his Cousin Flopsy. They had a large family, and they were very improvident and cheerful. I do not remember the separate names of their children; they were generally called the Flopsy Bunnies.

Author

Beatrix Potter (1866–1943) gave the world Peter Rabbit, then spent a lifetime proving she was more than a nursery name. A Victorian girl who drew what she saw — animals, plants, the texture of a garden wall — she made books in which every cabbage and jacket button earns its place. Later she became Mrs Heelis of the Lakes, a sheep farmer and a fierce guardian of countryside.
