Description

The Boy Aviators' Treasure Quest: The Golden Galleon by John Henry Goldfrap follows brothers Frank and Harry Chester, talented young aviators aiming to win the Hempstead Plains Cup. After a triumphant flight, they encounter rivals and a mysterious craft called “The Buzzard.” A reporter’s tale of a lost galleon in the Sargasso Sea sparks a thrilling shift from competition to a daring treasure hunt.

Author

John Henry Goldfrap (1879–1917) was an English-born journalist who became one of the most prolific storytellers of America's early twentieth-century boys' book boom. His serial adventures captured a generation's hunger for courage, gadgetry, and the open road — wireless operators at sea, cadets aboard dreadnoughts, scouts on the range, motor rangers crossing the Sierras.
