Description

In The Border Boys on the Trail by John Henry Goldfrap, Jack Merrill and Ralph Stetson arrive in Maguez, New Mexico, with Professor Wintergreen, only to be drawn into frontier danger. Encounters with the outlaw Black Ramon and a near-fatal canal accident thrust them into action. As cattle rustling and intrigue unfold, the boys rely on courage and quick thinking to navigate peril.

Author

John Henry Goldfrap (1879–1917) was an English-born journalist who became one of the most prolific storytellers of America's early twentieth-century boys' book boom. His serial adventures captured a generation's hunger for courage, gadgetry, and the open road — wireless operators at sea, cadets aboard dreadnoughts, scouts on the range, motor rangers crossing the Sierras.
