Description

Young Martin leaves Cornwall for the sea with the sailor Barney O’Flannagan, and Brazil’s forests, rivers, and rough company become his hard school. Shipwreck, jungle danger, and loyal friendship drive a boys’ adventure of nerve and growth, not a pet-jaguar origin myth.
