Description

Rickie Elliot at Cambridge, lame foot, a paradise of talk — then Agnes Pembroke and the brother, and Gerald who once bullied him and now holds the engagement. Forster’s Longest Journey is an orphan’s education in love, cowardice, and a brother who appears too late. Sovereign ebook. Early twentieth-century England, a body that marks him, a marriage that looks like shelter. Not a campus idyll. The longest way round to a self. Forster already exact about class, injury, and the lies a kind man tells.

Author

Edward Morgan Forster (1 January 1879 – 7 June 1970) was an English author. He is best known for his novels, particularly A Room with a View (1908), Howards End (1910) and A Passage to India (1924). He also wrote numerous short stories, essays, speeches and broadcasts, as well as biographies and pageant plays. His short story "The Machine Stops" (1909) is often viewed as the beginning of technological dystopian fiction.
