Author

George Robert Stowe Mead (1863–1933) — better known as G. R. S. Mead — translated and interpreted Gnostic and Hermetic writings for English readers. His books on the gnosis of the mind, the hymns of Hermes, and visionary texts such as The Vision of Aridaeus belong to the same lifelong project: to recover the inner life of late-antique spirituality without drowning it in jargon.
