Description

In the frozen Canadian wilderness, hunter John Cummins watches his wife Mélisse die as a starving boy arrives with a violin that somehow comforts the cabin. Grief, survival, and unexpected kinship shape the years that follow the worst night. Curwood’s northern story of honour, music, and courage in the big snows. Spoken as when loss still leaves room for a new bond, and the cold country remembers every kindness.
