Description

Anthony Lammas leaves a St Andrews lecture-room for the Free Fishers of Forth — a brotherhood of sea-folk more binding than the King. Buchan’s Regency chase: a duel, a Jacobin rumour, a woman worth the risk, and a plot that runs toward the Prime Minister. Historical adventure with salt on it. Nanty Lammas, Sir Turnour’s pistol, Kirsty Evandale, creeks where the law cannot see. A Forth brotherhood against a plot in Norfolk and London. Loyalty, a running fight, and the Forth as a co-conspirator.
