Description

Tarzan, hunting far from home, falls among the Minunians, men eighteen inches high, whose cities Trohanadalmakus and Veltopismakus are already at war. Reduced and captured, he allies with Prince Komodoflorensal through palace rooms the size of chambers and a civil fight in miniature. Jungle adventure of scale: prisoner, friend, and fighter in a civilisation of war and caste.

Author

Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875–1950) invented Tarzan and John Carter and then refused to stop inventing. Jungle, Mars, Pellucidar, lost cities: he built a pulp engine that made adventure unapologetic and wildly popular. Tarzan leapt from novels into comics, film, and merchandising until the ape-man became a global icon; Barsoom gave science fantasy a desert romance and a swordsman's swagger.
