American Wigeon

The American wigeon (Mareca americana) is a dabbling duck of shallow marshes, lakeshores, and prairie wetlands, known for a high whistle among the quacks. In Ambient recordings from Canadian wetlands, the wigeon joins frogs, a babbling river, and other waterfowl — habitat as a working background. No documentary voice: only the wet country, ducks, and stream.
