James Walsh

James J. Walsh (1865–1942) was an American physician and medical historian, long associated with Fordham, who wrote for a general reader on nerves, will, and the hygiene of a working life. Health Through Will Power belongs to that confident early-twentieth-century clinic: the mind as an ally of the body. Two titles here. Practical, pastoral, and sure that character is a form of medicine.
