Eastern Phoebe
The eastern phoebe (Sayornis phoebe) is a small tyrant flycatcher of eastern North America, often heard before it is seen near bridges, barns, and forest water. Its sharp fee-bee call says its own name; birders learn it early as a sign of spring migration and nesting under eaves. In Ambient recordings beside a gentle forest waterfall, the eastern phoebe's chirps and buzzes ride the sound of falling water — clear, practical birdsong for coding, meditation, and anyone training an ear to eastern woodland voices.
