St Francis of Assisi

St Francis of Assisi (c. 1181–1226) founded the Franciscan order and became one of Christianity's most beloved saints — a poet of poverty, creatures, and praise. The Prayer of Creation in our catalogue echoes that spirit: finding God in sun, wind, and living things. Francis turned away from wealth for an itinerant life of preaching and radical simplicity that still shapes how people imagine holiness.
