Weedon and George Grossmith

George and Weedon Grossmith were brothers whose collaboration produced The Diary of a Nobody (1892), one of the best-loved comic novels in English. George brought his fame as a Gilbert and Sullivan performer; Weedon supplied illustrations and co-authorship. Together they created Charles Pooter — earnest, oblivious, and unforgettable.
