Carlo Collodi
Carlo Collodi was an Italian writer and journalist. He is best known for his children's book The Adventures of Pinocchio, which has been adapted into numerous films and stage productions. Collodi was born in Florence, Italy on November 24, 1826. His father was a government official and his mother was a homemaker. He had two brothers and one sister. Collodi attended school in Florence and then went on to study at the University of Pisa.
